silk road ensemble

The Silk Road Ensemble is a group of musicians led by Yo-Yo Ma who collaborate on creating music from around the world. The poster/brochure had to supply the reader with information about the Silk Road, the ensemble, all of the musicians, and the tour dates. It also had fold up into a “mailing size.” The solution to this was quite successful. Collaborating with 2 other people, we created a poster series that came together to form a giant composition. Each poster featured an instrument of the ensemble. The backs of the posters, with all the information were all different. The folding was also interesting, in that it folded up from the four corners of the posters.
