haute couture

Haute couture is an interesting element in designer fashion that emphasizes the importance of the hand v.s. the machine. Creating a visual mind map, I started with research of its history and principles. From there, I looked at one of the most famous couturiers, Valentino. The handwork of Valentino was greatly influenced by the work Weiner Werkstatte of the early 1900’s, and I then studied this famous school.
