Urban Curators is a collaborative project started in Providence, RI. Recognizing a lot of the overlooked, yet beautiful areas in the city, we hung frames to allude to the museum environment, which is the usual setting for viewing art. After beginning the project in Rhode Island, we encouraged the community to take it over. We silk screened posters and hung them all over the city, and created a website to spread the word. It was so successful that we received tremendous response from not only the community but from places all over the world.
